Under the supervision of the Nantes University and Nantes University Hospital, the Structure Fédérative de Recherche (SFR) Bonamy brings together Nantes' biology/health research laboratories.

It coordinates a network of technological facilities in Nantes, oversees the acquisition of scientific equipment and represents Nantes' scientific community in the field of biology/health in various local and regional bodies.

The research laboratories and technological facilities of the SFR Bonamy are located in Nantes (France) at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Faculty of Dental Surgery, the University Hospital, the Faculty of Science and Technology, the IRS-UN and the IRS2 Nantes Biotech buildings.
